The course is located 15 minutes north of Surfers Paradise and 40 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, the Gold Coast Country Club offers one of the best layouts found on the coast. The course has under gone many improvements in recent times. The most notable being the new recycled water irrigation system, which leaves the fairways green and lush all year round. The bunkers have also had a significant upgrade. The back nine is a long and difficult experience from the championship tees while the front nine, although shorter, presets water on every hole. The contrast in design features combined with a picturesque setting makes playing the course an opportunity not to be missed.
